Tammy took a painting class in 2018, and has been painting ever since. She works with acrylics on canvas, and is inspired by the vibrant colors and landscapes of nature. When looking at one of her painting fills her with joy, she knows the piece is complete.
With a B.S. and an M.S. in accounting from the University of Connecticut, as well as her CPA, she worked as an accountant for 10 years, before she was finally ready to admit that her passion and values weren’t aligned with the work she was doing.
During this time of exploration, in addition to painting, Tammy also became a registered yoga and meditation teacher, as well as Certified Money Coach. She is a fierce advocate of financial education for women and girls. She lives in CT with her husband Steve and Labrador Oliver.
